It's hard to forget Charles Tombe.

Fame may be an increasingly easy ticket to come by in the new global village.
But few have achieved such memorable notoriety as young Charles managed one summer, in his village, in Southern Sudan. The 'Great Goat Scandal' rocked the world, and sent a collective shudder around the Internet.

For Mr.Tombe will always be remembered as the man caught having a rather intimate moment with a goat named Rose, one hot Saturday night. Caught in the act by village elders, his punishment was equally perverse: they forced him to marry his four legged consort! But eyewitness accounts soon began to report the two forming a happy, if unlikely relationship. It was one based on primitive needs.

Hearing of Mr Tombe's tragic loss, our rangers here at BuzzMyGoat set out on an unending quest to help him move to pastures new, searching the kingdom for a suitable replacement for Rose.

Enter Daisy - the Angelina Jolie of Goatkind. This luscious vixen stiffens many a horn, and so as any concerned citizen would, we offered her to Mr Tombe to ease his pain. But how would we locate our amorous hero? Without the proper paperwork, the Sudanese Embassy was not impressed. Who would have thought our simple gesture would cause an International incident?

The bizarre story appeared to be taking a post-modern twist, proving man and beast could indeed co-exist in blissful matrimony.

But our new age Disney fairytale was suddenly shattered by Rose's abrupt and tragic death, just a year into wedlock. She died choking on a plastic bag, doing what she loved best - rummaging through rubbish for a tasty snack.
